Alpena-Montmorency Conservation District Staff

District Manager
Aprille Williamson
Aprille has been with the district since 2013. She started out as the bookkeeper for the Montmorency CD. In 2015 she became the Administrator for Montmorency CD and then took on the Administrator position of the Alpena CD in 2016. In September of 2017 the two districts were consolidated and Aprille took on responsibility of both districts as District Manager. Aprille has been a lifetime resident of Atlanta. She graduated from Northwood University with a BBA in Accounting and Business Management. She runs her own bookkeeping business and volunteers in many community organizations. Aprille's strong community ties will be an asset to our district.

CTAI Technician
Kenneth Parsons

Kenny has been with the district since 2000. Kenny graduated from Lake Superior State University in 2000 with an Environmental Geology degree. He lives in Alpena with his family. He loves the outdoors, hunting and working at the family camp. Kenny has a lot of knowledge with soil recommendations, food plots, farm practices and anything natural resources. He is a great resource for our office and works very well with our area landowners.

MAEAP Technician
Alleigh Pagels
Alleigh began working at the Alpena-Montmorency Conservation District in August of 2018. She graduated from Lake Superior State University in 2017 with a Wildlife Management degree. Alleigh works out of the Alpena office and has been a long-term resident of Alcona county. She is looking forward to working with farms in the surrounding area and helping them become MAEAP certified.

FAP Forester
Dr. Greg Corace
Greg began working at the Alpena-Montmorency Conservation District in July 2019. Greg has a Bachelor's of Science (Zoology) and a Master's of Science (Biology) from Northern Michigan University and a Ph.D. (Forest Science) from Michigan Technological University. Greg was also a Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana. Over the last 20+ years, Greg has conducted forest planning, applied research, management, and inventory and monitoring on public and private lands in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Bovine TB Technician
Jesse Gilfillan
Jesse began working at the Alpena-Montmorency Conservation District September 2019. Jesse received her Bachelor's of Science in Natural Resources through Central Michigan University in May of 2015. Since then, Jesse has received a myriad of experiences in wildlife conservation and research including ecosystems in Florida, Oregon, and her native state of Michigan. She is excited to work in her hometown of Alpena and help farmers manage the health of their cattle.
